American Billionaire Behind Spreading Chinese Propaganda in India and Abroad: NYT Report

American Billionaire Neville Roy Singham has been linked to spreading Chinese propaganda in India, South Africa, US and many countries. An investigation led by The New York Times, a “lavishly funded influence campaign that defends China and pushes its propaganda” has been unearthed.

As per the NYT report, Neville Roy Singham, an American billionaire and supporter of the Chinese Communist Party, has been labelled as the “heart of this campaign” spreading Chinese propaganda across the world.

From US, to South Africa to Brazil and all the way to New Delhi India, Singham has funded some of the leading faces and websites of Chinese Propaganda.

No Cold War, NewsClick, Code Pink are just some of the organisations linked to Neville and his network of Chinese Propaganda.

As per NYT, neutral sounding groups such as No Cold War and Code Pink popped up in the recent years. Code Pink, co-founded by former Democratic Political Advisor and Singham’s wife – Jodie Evans initially started out as a group which was extremely critical of China’s human rights record has now transformed into a group that now defends the interment of Muslim Ugyhurs in China.
