And days after that ugly spat, he shared a picture with Gautam Gambhir on Saturday with a cheeky caption.
Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir and star pacer Naveen-ul-Haq were part of a huge controversy on Monday (May 1) when, during the Lucknow-based team’s ninth match of the ongoing IPL 2023 season, they got engaged in a heated verbal fight with Virat Kohli. During the match and after it as well, the 23-year-old pacer Naveen had a heated argument with Virat, and then later it turned even more nasty when Gambhir joined the bandwagon. Several videos of Naveen and Gambhir’s altercation with Virat on the field went viral on the internet.
Since that episode took place, various reports have brought up various theories that shed light on what happened on the field that led to the brawl. And days after that ugly encounter, Afghanistani pacer Naveen took to Instagram on Saturday night to share a picture of himself with Gambhir and posted a caption in which he wrote, “Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to #With Goat.”
While he didn’t mention Kohli’s name, fans on social media quickly guessed that the caption was aimed at Virat. And on Naveen’s post, Gambhir posted a comment that caught everyone’s attention. The former Indian opening batter wrote, “Be who you are !! ‘Never Change’”
