Muzaffarnagar: Farmer leaders from Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Delhi are expected to attend a ‘Mahapanchayat’ in Muzaffarnagar to discuss the wrestlers’ protest against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Naresh Tikait said several khap leaders will be attending the Mahapanchayat to deliberate on wrestlers’ demand to arrest Brij Bhushan, who they have accused of sexual exploitation.
The Delhi Police have filed two FIRs against WFI chief Brij Bhushan Singh and also booked him under POCSO Act.
Brij Bhushan has categorically denied all the allegations and alleged political conspiracy behind the wrestlers’ protest.
