Delhi: On Tuesday morning around 5 AM, an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Varanasi received a bomb threat, leading to the immediate evacuation of all passengers. According to a CISF official, the threat prompted a rapid and urgent response, with passengers being deboarded on the tarmac.

An aviation security official at the scene reported that the IndiGo crew found a note with the word “bomb” written on it in the aircraft’s lavatory before takeoff.

Visuals from the scene show a chaotic evacuation, with some passengers using evacuation slides and others jumping out of the aircraft windows. Panic ensued when the IndiGo crew alerted passengers to the emergency and instructed them to “evacuate.”
