During a recent match, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan, and Aaradhya Bachchan turned cheerleader for Abhishek Bachchan and his kabaddi team, Jaipur Pink Panthers. On Saturday night, Aishwarya, Amitabh, and Aaradhya attended the kabaddi match in Mumbai’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium. They were seated in the stands with Abhishek and sported Jaipur Pink Panthers jerseys. Jaipur Pink Panthers was competing against U Mumba.
In a video shared by Star Sports on X, previously known as Twitter, the Bachchan family members were seen going through a range of emotions. Right from being tensed to jumping with joy after earning a point and even cheering the team on, Aishwarya, Amitabh, and Aaradhya were invested in the game from the first minute. For the unversed, Abhishek co-owns Jaipur Pink Panthers with Bunty Walia. The team started playing in the Pro Kabaddi League in 2014. In a podcast with Raj Shamani, Abhishek opened up about investing in the team. “We didn’t know anything, how to make a team, maintain a team, what is the running cost, nothing. It was literally like a shot in the dark,” he said.
