Upset With Girlfriend’s Father, Man Steals His Phone, Threatens To Kill Yogi Adityanath

Ameen, now arrested, issued the death threat to the Chief Minister from the phone of his girlfriend’s father as he was frustrated with the latter. He was arrested from Begumpurva and the mobile phone used to send the message has been seized, said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ankita Sharma said, PTI reported.

Lucknow: A man who allegedly threatened to kill Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had sent the threat message from a number belonging to his girlfriend’s father. The 19-year-old, identified as Ameen, allegedly sent a message on the police’s 112 emergency number, threatening to kill the Chief Minister. “I will kill CM Yogi soon,” reads the message which was sent at 10.22 pm on April 23.
Ameen, now arrested, issued the death threat to the Chief Minister from the phone of his girlfriend’s father as he was frustrated with the latter. Father of Ameen’s girlfriend was not happy with the relationship between the two and that’s why he hatched a conspiracy to issue a death threat to the CM from his phone.
