Trump slurs through speech after being mocked by Biden for mispronouncing Melania’s name

GOP candidate Nikki Haley and others have questioned the 77-year-old’s mental acuity as his campaign trail gaffes rival those of Joe Biden, 81.

Donald Trump appeared to slur some words and mispronounce others at a campaign rally in North Carolina on Saturday.

The critical event came days before Super Tuesday, when 15 states and one territory, American Samoa, are set to host presidential primaries.

In his typical rambling speech pattern, the former president seemed to say “Venezuera,” instead of “Venezuela.”

He variously cut off his own sentences and repeated himself when his syllables came out wrong.

At another point, he vowed to “expel the wall-mongers” instead of “war-mongers,” leaving one X user wondering if he was promising to get rid of himself.

Trump’s age and mental acuity has been the subject of speculation as he’s likely to face Joe Biden, 81, in the presidential election in November.

The two men are the oldest frontrunners in a US presidential contest in history.

Trump has repeatedly attacked Biden for his notorious flubs onstage, but the president is now fighting fire with fire.

In a recent interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Biden mocked Trump by saying: “He’s about as old as I am, but he can’t remember his wife’s name,” referring to an episode last week when Trump called his wife Melania by the name “Mercedes.”

Nikki Haley, 52, has attacked both men by handing out mental competency tests at one of her rallies in South Carolina.

The tests asked: “Can you pass a mental competency test? Can Joe Biden? Can Donald Trump?”

A panel of mental health experts have run an independent mental fitness test on Donald Trump. The 27 experts based their information on the contents of the Mueller Report, which looked at election interference in the 2016 election and Trump’s efforts to obstruct the investigation.

“We went ahead with the evaluation of Trump, and it showed that he was not only unfit to be president but unfit to do any job,” they found.
