New York woman walks down the street with a ‘looking-for-a-husband’ sign — sparking plenty of conversation

Karolina Geits, 29, said the sign started as a joke after dating apps didn’t work for her

A woman has made waves on social media after she posted a video of herself walking around the streets of New York City with a sign that said, “Looking for a husband.”

Karolina Geits is a 29-year-old living in New York City who recently went through the streets holding the self-made, cardboard sign signifying her wishes.

Geits told Fox News Digital on Tuesday the idea for the sign was originally a joke between her and her friends.

“We had a discussion with friends that dating apps [were] not working because it takes a long time to chat,” she said.

“As a joke, I said that I’ll go outside with a sign.”

The next day, she did just that.

She took a cardboard box she received in the mail, ripped off a piece of it, wrote the words, “Looking for a husband” — and took to the streets, she said.

COUPLES SAY THE KEY TO HAPPY MARRIAGE IS THE ‘2-2-2 RULE’

The TikTok video of her moment has over 10 million views and 1.2 million likes since it was posted on September 3.

The influencer and model said it was funny to her to see the response from people passing by.

She said she was shocked by how many supported the action.

“I didn’t expect such a reaction,” she said. “People began to support me.”

Geits said people were sending her their dating profiles for potential review — although she said she’s still looking for “the best.”

‘Human collie’ speaks: I want to meet a girl dog — and be in movies

Just weeks after taking his first public walk on all fours, the Japanese man-dog now known around the world as “the human collie,” thanks to his extreme commitment to cosplay, has granted an exclusive interview to The Post.

The very good boy, who answers to “Toco,” achieved internet notoriety after spending a whopping $14,000 on a custom-made collie costume he wears in public to help him realize his dream of “becoming an animal” and posted the results on his YouTube channel.

Now, the human-cum-canine has chosen to reveal the secrets behind his unconventional life.

“The reason I chose a collie dog breed specifically is primarily because I like raising them,” dished the doggelgänger, who has owned multiple pups in the past.

He added, “Secondly, because if it wasn’t a naturally large size breed, it wouldn’t look unnaturally disproportionate when worn by someone as a costume.”

Toco added that the collie’s long fur helps “camouflage the human form discreetly.”

And after achieving his doggie dream, Toco now has another wish — to become a movie star. (Get ready for a different type of “Dog Day Afternoon.”)

“I think it would be great if I were able to use my skills and get the opportunity to appear as a dog in a movie,” he yelped.

The Japanese native also revealed that he long dreamed of living as an animal, but could never muster up the courage prior to ordering his current collie costume.
