Actor Sunny Deol seems to be unfazed by the cheating allegations.

Sunny Deol on Thursday found himself in hot water after a film producer accused the actor of cheating him of Rs 2.55 crore. While the Gadar 2 star is yet to react to the shocking allegations, he has dropped an adorable comment on his brother, Bobby Deol’s anniversary post.

Meanwhile, Sorav Gupta, a real estate developer turned producer who owns Sundawn Entertainment Pvt Ltd, has levelled shocking allegations of cheating, extortion and forgery against Sunny Deol.

Sorav claimed that he and his team met Sunny in May 2016 with the first draft of their film. The actor apparently agreed to do the movie for Rs 4 crore. “We paid him Rs 1 crore in advance. Then in October, he asked for another crore and we made that payment as well,” the producer told Times Now.com/Zoom, adding that Sunny still didn’t start the shoot and went on to film for “Poster Boyz” instead.

The back and forth kept happening until 2022 when Sunny allegedly asked Sorav to change the film’s director and rework the script. “In 2023, he only suggested a subject to us. The name of the film was Ram Janmabhoomi. We were told that the script is ready, there is a director onboard and that we just need to execute it. The total budget of the movie was estimated to be around Rs 40 crore, which would be divided 50-50 between us and another partner,” Sorav claimed.
