Mithun Chakraborty Discharged From Hospital, Says ‘I Have To My Control Food Habits, PM Modi Scolded Me’

Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty has been discharged from hospital on Monday (February 12) and declared that he is “absolutely fine” and is ready to resume work. The 73-year-old actor had been admitted to a private hospital on February 10, citing severe chest pain and breathlessness. The actor was later diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke).

Mithun Chakraborty Receives Call From PM Modi

Actor Mithun Chakraborty revealed that he got discharged from the hospital and he is “absolutely fine”. The actor shared that doctors have advised him to control his food habits. The Kashmir Files actor further mentioned that he got a call from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday (February 11), who scolded him for not taking proper care of his health. Additionally, BJP MP Dilip Ghosh visited him in the hospital. He told PTI, “I am absolutely fine. I have to keep control of my food habits. Let’s see; I may start working soon, maybe tomorrow.”
Hospital Statement
Earlier, the hospital shared an official statement giving the actor’s health update that read, “Shri Mithun Chakraborty (73), National Award-winning actor, was brought to the Emergency Department of Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals, Kolkata, around 9.40 am with complaints of weakness in the right upper and lower limbs. Necessary laboratory and radiology investigations were carried out including an MRI of the brain. He has been diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke) of the brain. Presently, he is fully conscious, well-oriented and has consumed soft diet. Shri Chakraborty is being further evaluated by a team of doctors including a neuro-physician, cardiologist and a gastroenterologist.”
