A group of protestors have apparently gathered outside Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai office, after she made an Instagram post about Dalai Lama and Joe Biden being friends
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has made a name for herself in the industry with her versatile performances. For the past few years, she has been making the headlines for her blunt and bold statements on social media, which has also gotten her in trouble. She had recently taken to her official handle to share a harmless post about the Dalai Lama and US President Joe Biden being friends. Her joke hasn’t gone down well with a section of people.
She took to her Instagram stories again to issue a clarification on the matter and share a video of people protesting outside her Mumbai office in Pali Hill, Bandra. On Friday, through her social media post she went on to explain how a group of Buddhist people are protesting outside her office. She expressed how she didn’t intend to hurt anyone’s feelings as “it was a harmless joke about Biden being friends with Dalai Lama….please don’t misunderstand my intentions.”
The 36-year-old actress went on to reveal that she believes in Buddha’s teachings and “his holiness 14th Dalai Lamba has spent his whole life in public service.” She requested the protestors to not stand in the harsh heat and return home.
