Hina Khan took to her official social media handle to praise her mother for being her strength after finding out about her cancer diagnoses
Having made her debut with the serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Hina Khan became a household name because of her portrayal of an innocent and strong-willed Akshara Singhania. She was recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and has even started chemotherapy for the same. Having grown fond of her followers, she often takes to her official social media handle to share glimpses of her journey and never shies away from sharing her challenges.
Hina recently took to her Instagram to pen an emotional note for her mother, who has been her pillar of strength in this time of need. Sharing a few photos of the day, her mother found out about her diagnosis, hugging the actress close to her chest and consoling her, she lauded her mother for the strength. Fans were left emotional reading the post and immediately took to the comment section to shower the mother-daughter duo with love and admiration.
The 36-year-old actress captioned her post, “A mother’s heart can consume an Ocean of Sorrow and Pain to provide Shelter, love and comfort to her children. This was the day she received the news of my diagnosis, the shock that she felt was inexplicable but she found a way to hold me and forget her pain. A Superpower in which Mothers excel always. Even her world was crumbling down yet she found a way to shelter me in her arms and give me strength.”
