Actor and politician Hema Malini was a part of the inauguration of India’s new Parliament building by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. Hema shared some glimpses of the new Parliament and called it ‘beautiful’.
Sharing a set of photos, Hema Malini wrote, “Day 1 – at the inaugural of the beautiful new Parliament building which will showcase India’s strides into a brave new world and give us pride of place among all the advanced nations. In the photos, Hema can be seen posing in a floral pink saree outside the gate of India’s new Parliament building that has ‘Satyameva Jayate’ carved in Hindi. Hema’s second photo is where she posed with fellow Lok Sabha members; while in the last photo in the set, she can be seen posing in front of the golden design made on the walls, which is the depiction of ‘Samudra Manthan’.
Hema Malini shared more clicks from the building and wrote, “More photos of the beautifully conceived building. All our itihasic (hostorical) glory reflected in the panels and murals on the walls. Congratulations to all the artists who have worked so hard to make this vision a reality🙏A sight worth seeing and certainly worth the wait!” She also shared another set of photos and wrote, “The long bronze beautifully carved panel depicts the Sagar Manthan.”
