Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, The Great Indian Kapil Show’s new promo sees Ed Sheeran making an appearance
International musician Ed Sheeran had taken the country by storm with his concert in Mumbai and his meet-up with Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan earlier this year. While fans are still reeling from his visit to Mumbai, he also made an appearance on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, which streams on Netflix. The makers of the show recently took to their official social media handle to share a promo of the upcoming episode. They shared the video with the caption, “The perfect collab doesn’t exis… Watch Ed Sheeran on #TheGreatIndianKapilShow this Saturday 8 pm only on Netflix.”
In the short promo, the four-time Grammy winner is seen mimicking Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic dialogues and doing his iconic pose, leaving the audience to hoot and cheer. Introducing Ed to the fans, Kapil is heard saying, “Please welcome the man, who has sold more than 150 million records. Ed Sheeran.” Amidst goofy banters with comedians Krushna Abhishek and Sunil Grover, he sings a Bhangra remix of his famous track ‘Shape of You’. He even performs a random Hindi-Bhojpuri song for Grover. The episode will be airing on Netflix on Saturday at 8 pm.
