However, the Court granted protection to the live-in couple before it in view of Supreme Court’s observation that adult couples have a right to reside together even if not of marriageable age.
The Madhya Pradesh High Court recently expressed its reluctance in enforcing the rights of a young live-in couple who had approached it for the protection of their lives.
