In a public display of displeasure, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday tossed a mic on the ground after it malfunctioned while he was interacting with the public in Barmer district.
A video of the incident is being widely circulated on social media.

The chief minister’s office denied an earlier interpretation of the video clip that the mike was thrown at the district collector. “The mike was not thrown at the district collector,” an official said.
The incident took place on Friday night, when Gehlot was interacting with a group of women at the Barmer Circuit House to get their feedback on various government schemes meant for them. Other leaders such as senior Congress leader Harish Choudhary and Cabinet Minister Hemaram Choudhary were also present on the occasion.
The CM again lost his composure when he saw some people standing behind the group of women, and asked them to go away.
