Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu met his Telangana counterpart A Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad on Saturday to address disputes arising from the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act.

Both state leaders decided to form special committees of ministers and officials to resolve bifurcation issues.

“A committee of senior officials from both states, three members from each, will be formed and will meet in two weeks to find solutions to various issues,” Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka said, as quoted by news agency PTI.

Besides, a committee of ministers will be established to address unresolved issues.

The meeting also emphasised collaboration between the states to combat drugs and cybercrime. Meanwhile, Naidu’s government in Andhra Pradesh has appointed a cabinet sub-committee to curb the supply of narcotics.
