: As tensions are likely to escalate in Middle East following Iran’s missile attack on Israel, India issued advisory for its citizens asking them to exercise caution and stay close to shelters. As per the Indian embassy, there are about 18,000 Indian citizens in Israel, primarily caregivers employed by Israeli elders to take care of them, diamond traders, I.T. professionals and students.
Indian Embassy in Tel Aviv asked Indian nationals to remain vigilant and adhere to safety protocols issued by the local authorities. “Please exercise caution, avoid unnecessary travel within the country and stay close to safety shelters. The Embassy is closely monitoring the situation and remains in regular touch with the Israeli authorities to ensure the safety of all our nationals,” the embassy said.
