People will defeat the BJP in coming elections, says the Congress leader at an event organised by the Indian Overseas Congress-USA in New York
Like the United States, India too was witnessing a fight between different ideologies and the people of India would defeat the BJP’s ‘hate-filled ideology’ in the forthcoming Assembly elections, including the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said at a dinner event organised by the Indian Overseas Congress-USA in New York on Saturday.
Mr. Gandhi, who reached New York after visiting Washington and San Francisco, is scheduled to address a public meeting of the Indian diaspora at the Javits Centre in Manhattan on Sunday. New York City Mayor Eric Adams also attended the event that drew large number of Congress supporters, officials, and members of the Indian community.
