Pahalgam Terror Attack: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a strong message to Pahalgam terrorists, said that the perpetrators will be “punished beyond their imagination”.

India will identify, track and punish every terrorist, their handlers and their backers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said from the “soil of Bihar” in a stern message to terrorists who killed 26 innocent people in Baisaran meadows in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam.
“We will pursue them to the ends of the earth. India’s spirit will never be broken by terrorism,” the Prime Minister said, adding that the culprits of Pahalgam and their handlers will be punished “beyond their imagination”.

The Prime Minister was addressing a gathering in Bihar’s Madhubani on Thursday, and said that people lost their loved ones in the terror attack in Pahalgam. The PM was giving the speech in Hindi and then suddenly, he switched to English and said, “Friends, today from the soil of Bihar, I say to the whole world India will identify, track, and punish every terrorist and their backers. We will pursue them to the ends of the earth. India’s spirit will never be broken by terrorism. Terrorism will not go unpunished.”
The PM further added, “Every effort will be made to ensure that justice is done. The entire nation is firm in this resolve. Everyone who believes in humanity is with us. I thank the people of various countries and their leaders who have stood with us in these times.”

Without naming Pakistan, PM Modi said the terrorists and the conspirators of this attack will be punished beyond their imagination. “Punishment will definitely be served,” he added.
The prime minister said the willpower of 140 crore Indians will break the back of patrons of terrorism.
On Tuesday, (April 22, 2025), terrorists opened fire on tourists in the peaceful town of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district. Dressed in camouflage fatigues, the terrorists separated men from women and children, asked the men to recite Islamic verses and shot dead the ones who couldn’t do so.
