New Delhi: Amid reports of fissures with the Opposition INDIA bloc over Parliament proceedings, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed dissatisfaction over the way opposition coalition was functioning. She signalled that she is ready to walk of the INDIA bloc if given a chance. Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress (TMC) is a part of the Congress-led Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).
“I had formed the INDIA bloc, now it is up to those leading the front to manage it. If they can’t run the show, what can I do? I would just say that everyone needs to be taken along,” Mamata Banerjee said in an interview with Bengali news channel News 18 Bangla.
Asked why she is not taking charge of the alliance despite her credentials as a strong anti-BJP force, Banerjee said, “If given the opportunity I would ensure its smooth functioning.”

“I don’t want to go outside Bengal, but I can run it from here,” she added.
