Singer Udit Narayan has been facing massive backlash online ever since a video went viral of him kissing female fans at a live concert. Reacting to the controversy, the singer told Hindustan Times, “Fans itne deewane hote hain na. Hum log aise nahi hain, hum decent log hain. Some people encourage this and show their love through this. Udaake kya karna hai ab iss cheez ko? There are so many people in the crowd, and we have bodyguards present too. But fans think they are getting a chance to meet, so someone extends their hands for a handshake, some kiss the hands… yeh sab deewangi hoti hai. Uspe itna dhyaan nahi dena chahiye.”
In a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, Zahan Kapoor opened up about his childhood memories with his grandfather Shashi Kapoor. Zahan said he didn’t realize as a child that his grandfather was a superstar. He said, “It’s so funny and I really consider that a blessing. I did not know. I remember there was a time when I was young and I had no idea; one day I came home and I think Amitabh Bachchan sir was at home. I remember he was clean-shaven at the time, so it was ’90s and I remember coming in and being like ‘hain’. I didn’t understand it also at the time. Dadaji said, ‘Namaste karo’ and then, ‘Haan, theek hai, jao.'”
Ashneer Grover, who appeared as a guest on Salman Khan-hosted reality show Bigg Boss 18 in November 2024, has hit back at the superstar for grilling him on the show. A viral video shows Ashneer saying, “Faltu ka panga leke apna competition khada kiya usne. Main toh shanti se gaya tha jab mereko bulaya. Ab drama create karna ke liye aap kisiko bol do, arey main toh aapse mila hi nahi. I don’t even know your name. Abey naam nahi jaanta toh bulaaya kyun tha? (He created unnecessary competition by picking a fight. I had gone peacefully when I was called. And now, to create drama, he’s telling everyone, ‘Oh, I never even met you. I don’t even know your name.’ If you didn’t know my name, then why did you call me?).”
Ankita Lokhande and her husband, Vicky Jain, recently appeared on Elvish Yadav’s podcast when they talked about groupism in Bollywood. During their conversation, the YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner asked if the film industry is biased towards some people. Ankita explained that even though people aren’t biased, they prefer working with those they already know. Elvish interrupted her in between and took a dig at Karan Johar. “Karan Johar ko aisa mat bolo,” he said. However, as soon as Elvish took KJo’s name, Ankita quickly replied, “Everyone is like that, not just Karan. I think everyone has their own group.”
