A terrorist was killed during a gunfight with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The area has been cordoned off after the gunfight broke out.
A gunbattle broke out between terrorists and security forces at Frasipora in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district in the wee hours of Thursday. One terrorist was killed during the gunfight.
The gunfight occurred in the Muraan area of the district after security forces received inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area.
Following this, a brief exchange of fire took place.
Paramilitary personnel and Jammu and Kashmir Police cordoned off the area after the gunbattle broke out.
