Delhi: A high-voltage drama unfolded in Delhi over the arrest of the BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga. The dramatic arrest of Bagga drew in the police of three states (Delhi, Punjab & Haryana) and led to a political slugfest between the AAP and BJP at the Centre.
However, controversies are not new for the 36-year-old Delhi BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga. Let’s have a look at the top five controversies centered around Bagga in his past life.
Attack on Prashant Bhusan
In 2011, before Bagga was officially inducted into the BJP, he led an organisation called the Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena and attacked SC advocate Prashant Bhushan in his chamber. Later he wrote on his Twitter handle, “We hit Prashant Bhushan hard in his chamber in Supreme Court. If u will try to break my nation, I will break ur heads. Hisab chukta. Congrats to all. Operation Prashant Bhushan successful.”
Bagga later said that the attack was a mark of response to the advocate’s comments on Kashmir. Since then, Bagga has gained massive popularity on Twitter.
