Popular comedian Kapil Sharma took to social media to extend his warm wishes to Punjab Chief Minister-elect Bhagwant Mann, who registered a thumping victory with a margin of over 58k votes over closet rival in the Dhuri seat. The TKSS host shared a throwback picture with Bhagwant and his wife Ginni Chatrath from their wedding festivity along with a note to congratulate the former for becoming the next Chief Minister of Punjab.

Fondly calling Bhagwant Mann as his ‘Vade Veer’ (elder brother), Kapil penned a note on his official Instagram, lauding him for his ‘historic’ win. He said that Mann managed to not only win the Punjab Assembly elections but also the hearts of the people in the state. The Firangi actor hoped that his home state would flourish and prosper under the leadership of the comedian-turned politician.

Kapil Sharma wrote, “History remember those who creates history. many congregations to @bhagwantmann1 paji for his historic victory. You not only won the elections but also the heart of Punjab.
