Nikki Haley hammers Kamala Harris’ record: ‘She has failed’ at ‘everything she’s ever been given’

Haley challenged Harris supporters to point out her accomplishments as vice president

When Atlantic writer Jemele Hill suggested critiques of Kamala Harris are rooted in racism, Republican hopeful Nikki Haley challenged Harris supporters to name a single accomplishment of hers.

Haley, a former United Nations ambassador and one of the many contenders for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, had recently declared that “everyone in America can see Joe Biden’s decline and have concerns about his ability to serve a second term.”

“They know a vote for Joe Biden is a vote for Kamala Harris,” she added/.

Hill took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to label Haley as racist for lacking confidence in the vice president who has made frequent headlines for public gaffes and commonly referred to as “word salads.”

“So part of the reason racism is such a terrible sickness in this country is because politicians like this know they can rally a certain base with the fear of OH MY GOD A BLACK WOMAN MIGHT BE PRESIDENT IF YOU DON’T VOTE FOR ME,” Hill wrote.

She then appeared to imply that such rhetoric helped cause a horrific, racially motivated shooting that occurred over the weekend in Jacksonville, Florida, “Then we want to act all surprised when the most hateful part of the base decides they need to act out on their feelings of hatred.”

Haley was then asked in a Tuesday interview on Fox News, “What do you say to this idea that you saying ‘Kamala Harris could become president, we should all be fearful of that’ – I think is paraphrasing what you said – is racist?

“I mean, she is saying that to a minority female that’s running for president,” Haley replied, scoffing at the accusation.

GOP hopeful rips prospect of Harris presidency if Dems win in ’24: ‘Send a chill up every American’s spine’

Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley blasted the prospect of Vice President Kamala Harris becoming commander in chief if Democrats walk away with a win in 2024, warning Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo on Sunday that the notion should “send a chill up every American’s spine.”

The former South Carolina governor, in her appearance, cautioned against electing former President Donald Trump, who faces multiple indictments and looks at a series of lengthy and distracting legal battles.

“Donald Trump is a friend of mine. It was an honor to serve in the administration and work on foreign policy with him, and I agree with a lot of his policies. But the fact is, I don’t know if it’s four or five or six or how many indictments it is now, but he’s going to spend a lot of time in a courtroom and not on a campaign trail,” she said.

“My concern is we cannot have Kamala Harris as president. We can’t chance this. We have to make sure that we have a new generational leader that’s going to bring in not only Republicans, but we’re going to pull back the independents. We’re going to bring back in the suburban women, we’re going to bring in Hispanics. We’re going to bring in the Asian community. We have to make sure we win this, because the thought of Kamala Harris being president should send a chill up every American spine.”

Haley, one of eight Republicans who appeared on the debate stage in Milwaukee last Wednesday, previously cautioned against re-electing Trump, despite previously serving in his administration.

She told Fox News’ Sean Hannity after the debate that a weaponized justice system is behind Trump’s legal woes, and a win for Republicans is crucial to fix the problem.

“You can’t clean up Washington if Donald Trump is fighting issues of the past. We need a young generational conservative that’s going to go and clean up what they’ve done to Donald Trump but also carry our country forward,” she told Hannity.

A recent Fox News poll showed that 53% of likely voters preferred Trump out of the GOP field, still maintaining a commanding 37-point lead over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Haley ranked fifth out of the field, but she insists the race is far from over.

“It’s actually just getting started,” she told Bartiromo Sunday. “And so we’ve done 80 events and New Hampshire and Iowa. We’re going to keep being there. We’re doing events in South Carolina all this week. We’re going to keep focusing on touching as many hands as we can, answering every question.”

US Vice President Kamala Harris has stressed that the United States and Poland are “united” on policy towards Ukraine during the Russian invasion after Washington rejected an offer by Warsaw to transfer its MiG-29 through an American airbase in Germany.

Harris told reporters at a joint news conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda in Warsaw on Thursday that US military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine is an “ongoing process”.

“I want to be very clear: the United States and Poland are united in what we have done and are prepared to do to help Ukraine and the people of Ukraine, full stop,” she said.

Earlier this week, officials in Washington rejected the public Polish proposal to help deliver the Russian-made MiGs to Ukraine, saying that the move risked escalation with Moscow.

“Polish generosity is clearly on display for the whole world to see,” Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby said on Wednesday. “But at this time, we believe that provision of additional fighter aircraft provides little increased capabilities at high risk.”
