Director Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files, which released last Friday, opened to rave reviews across the country. Despite a low-key promotion, limited screens and clash with Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s Radhe Shyam, the film opened well at the ticket windows.
In fact, the film registered the highest ever growth on its second day of 139.44 per cent and currently stands with a grand total of Rs 12.05 crore. While fans have called it one of the best movies of 2022, Kangana also praised the drama on social media.
Anupam Kher, who is overwhelmed with the response to the film, expressed his gratitude towards the audience on Twitter. His Hindi tweet’s English translation reads, “People’s love, Kashmiri Hindus’ tears, @vivekagnihotri patience/courage, #TheKashmirFiles whole team’s hard work and above all Baba Bholenath’s blessings.
