Big B on AI development

After Rs 2000 question, Big B talks about the widespread of AI and asks Chirag if he is also studying.

Chirag shared about his studies and asked Big B, “It was said that AI will take over labour jobs. But now it is seen the people in the creative field are most affected. I feel very lucky to see you in flesh and blood. But someday it might happen that you are not able to shoot and your hologram is being used.”

Big B joked saying, “Let me tell you the truth. This is not me but my hologram.” He then goes on to add, “I am scared, I might be replaced with hologram. In films, such things are happening. We are taken to a room and around 40 cameras rotate around and made to make several expressions by making faces and looking all around. I didn’t know for what but later I learned that they would be used accordingly in my absence. Even if I haven’t given the shot, it will seem that it is me. So I get scared that AI will take our jobs.”
He requested the contestant saying, “Please help me out if I ever go jobless. We get a job with a lot of difficulty.”

Big B asks Chirag if he is popular amongst girls. Chirag says, “My number is in minus. Girls leave me. I get called cute and cuddly. Everyone calls me a panda. Girls don’t like me and I get friend-zoned.”
He takes lifeline for Rs 80,000 question – Which state’s film industry is popularly called ‘Sandalwood’? A. Andhra Pradesh, B. Karnataka, C. Madhya Pradesh, D. Kerala.
With the help of the poll, he correctly answers option B.

Contestant Chirag on getting brother-zoned by girls

Mr Bachchan asks his sister if his brother is saying the truth. She says that indeed he gets brother-zoned. Big B tells him not to lose hope as girls will see him differently after KBC and he should thank the show.

He didn’t get any help as his uncle was not sure of the answer. Chirag doesn’t use Double Dip lifeline as he isn’t sure of the answer. Hence, he quits the game and takes home Rs 80,000. Before leaving, he goes for option D but the correct answer is option A.

KBC 15: Amitabh Bachchan On His Parents’ Inter-Caste Wedding And How Sarojini Naidu Consoled His Dad

In the latest episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’, Amitabh Bachchan opened up about his parents, Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan’s inter-caste marriage.

The latest episode of the famous game reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 15, is once again in the headlines after the show’s host, Amitabh Bachchan shared an inside scoop about his parents. The iconic actor opened up about his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan and his mother, Teji Bachchan’s marriage. The doting son revealed how his parents were from different castes, and when they got married, they faced a lot of backlash.

Sharing more on his parents’ inter-caste marriage, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan was from a Hindu family while his mother, Teji Bachchan belonged to a Sikh family. The doting son further revealed that when his father took his mother to Allahabad, he received enormous hate as inter-caste marriage was considered a sin back in those days. He said:

“I am getting a little hesitant to say this but she was also a big fan of my babuji (Harivansh Rai Bachchan). My babuji had done an inter-caste marriage. My mataji (Teji Bachchan) was from a sikh family and when we lived in Allahabad, over there getting married in different caste was called a sin during that time.”

Amitabh Bachchan went on to reveal a few more things about his parents’ inter-caste marriage, as he opened up about iconic politician, Sarojini Naidu’s contribution in consoling his father back in those days when he was receiving a lot of backlash for getting married to a woman from Sikh community. The veteran actor revealed that Sarojini Naidu took his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was living in Allahabad at that time. Revealing how Sarojini Naidu introduced his father to Jawaharlal Nehru, Big B stated:

“So during that time, people fought against my father when he took my mother to Allahabad. So Sarojini Naidu was the first person who consoled him. He introduced him to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who used to live in Anand Bhavan in Allahabad. I still remember the way she had introduced my father. She said, ‘Meet the poet and his poetry’.”

Earlier today, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee arrived at actor Amitabh Bachchan’s residence in Jalsa, Mumbai, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. She has arrived in the city to attend the two-day meeting of I-N-D-I-A, which is slated to take place between August 31st and September 1st.

After tying Rakhi to Amitabh, Mamata Banerjee exited Jalsa and talked about her meeting with the actor. She is heard saying, “I am happy today. I met ‘Bharat Ratna’ of India Amitabh Bachchan (Mamata Banerjee called Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan Bharat Ratna) and also tied him rakhi. I love this family. They are the number one family in India and they have a lot of contributions also…I also invited him to attend Durga Puja and International Film Festival.”

Apart from Amitabh, Mamata Banerjee received a warm welcome from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Aaradhya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan, and Navya Naveli. They also came out of their residence to see off the CM.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently hosting the 15th season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, has revealed that he wanted producer and interior designer Gauri Khan to revamp his vanity van, but she has not done it yet.

During an episode, Big B asked a question to contestant Kapil Dev which read as: Which famous personality’s spouse is the author of this book? The book was titled ‘My Life in Design’. The options given to the contestant were: Sachin Tendulkar, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Chetan Bhagat.

The contestant chose the right answer- Shah Rukh Khan, as the book was by his wife Gauri Khan. Big B replied to the contestant that, “I like your way of playing. Your judgement is good”.

Amitabh Bachchan went on to say that “In this coffee table book, she presents exclusive pictures of her family as a designer, and depicts her journey. She is a home designer. I have seen her designs too.”

Bachchan said: “A few days ago, I was shooting with Shah Rukh, and while talking I went into his van. His van is very beautiful. It is very well designed, it has a TV, table and chairs which can be moved. There’s space for makeup too, there’s a toilet too. Its amazing. He (SRK) said Gauri designed it. In fact, he said that he will ask her to design my van too. But she (Gauri) hasn’t come yet.” Then Big B laughed.

From one legend to another: Kamal Haasan thanks Amitabh after Project K announcement

It’s not official that legendary actor Kamal Haasan will be playing a key role in Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s highly-anticipated sci-fi thriller, Project K. The stalwart actor-filmmaker has been given a warm welcome by the film’s principal cast and crew, including the Hindi film legend Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh tweeted, “Welcome Kamal .. great working with you again .. it’s been a while!” In his response, Kamal took to Twitter and thanked Big B. In his response, Kamal tweeted, “Thank you for the love Amit Ji @SrBachchan.” Kamal also said he is “looking forward to collaborating with Prabhas, producer Ashwini Dutt, director Nag Ashwin, actresses Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani and music composer Santhosh Narayanan on Project K.

Kamal is rumored to be playing a negative role in this high budget pan-international film. Project K will be hitting theaters on January 12, 2024 as a Sankranthi festive treat for fans.
