The Supreme Court on Thursday slammed the Commission for Air Quality Management for making “no effort” to implement its direction to stop stubble burning.

“CAQM has not launched a single prosecution against incidents of stubble burning,” the apex court declared.

This comes after the top court called the commission a “silent spectator” in its last hearing on September 27.
