Anantapur: Sri Rama Temple chariot was set on fire by unknown miscreants in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur district on Tuesday, the police said. The incident took place in Hanakanahal village. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu ordered a high-level probe into the matter.

On Tuesday, locals immediately rushed to the spot after they noticed the blaze. They doused the fire and then informed the police. After reaching the spot, cops inspected the chariot. A case has been registered against unknown people. The chariot was partly burnt in the incident.
