Sepoy Serto Thangthang Kom is survived by wife, daughter and son.

An army soldier was abducted from his home and killed by a few unidentified individuals in Manipur’s Imphal West district, officials said on Sunday. His body was recovered this morning around 9.30 am.
The soldier, identified as Sepoy Serto Thangthang Kom was on leave when the abduction took place at about 10 am on Saturday. He was deployed at Leimakhong Military Station in the northeastern state.
According to his 10-year-old son, who was the only eyewitness, three men entered their home while he and his father were working on the porch.
“The armed men placed a pistol on the Sepoy’s head and forced him into a white vehicle before fleeing the spot,” officials said quoting his son.
The officials further said, “There was no news of Sepoy Kom till Sunday early morning. Around 9.30 am, his body was found at Khuningthek village, east of Mongjam under Sogolmang PS in Imphal East.”
