Son of Sardaar 2 producer claims Vijay Raaz demanded for a separate vanity van while the actor finally breaks silence on why he was kicked out of the project because of Ajay Devgn
Actor Vijay Raaz has been removed from the film Son of Sardaar 2, starring Ajay Devgn, due to alleged issues with his behavior and demands on set. The decision to replace the Chandu Champion actor with actor Sanjay Mishra was confirmed by Kumar Mangat Pathak, co-producer of the film. According to Pathak, the removal was prompted by Vijay’s unreasonable demands, including requests for premium suites, a vanity van, and overcharging for his spot boy. Pathak elaborated that while the entire cast and crew were accommodated in standard rooms costing Rs 45,000 per night at one of the best hotels in the UK, Vijay insisted on premium accommodations. Moreover, the spot boy working for Vijay was reportedly paid Rs 20,000 per night, an amount that Pathak noted was excessive even for big actors.
Pathak strongly denied the claim that Vijay Raaz was removed because he failed to greet Ajay Devgn on set. He emphasized that the removal was strictly due to Vijay’s behavior and demands, which were considered inappropriate. Additionally, Pathak revealed that Vijay refused to refund the advance payment he had already received for the film and allegedly behaved rudely, stating that he was approached for the role and did not seek out the work himself.

In response to these allegations, Vijay Raaz shared his side of the story. He claimed that the real reason for his dismissal was that he didn’t greet Ajay Devgn upon arriving on set. According to Vijay, after he arrived at the shoot location and greeted director Vijay Kumar Arora and others, he noticed Ajay Devgn standing about 25 meters away. Since Ajay appeared busy, Vijay chose not to approach him immediately. Shortly thereafter, Pathak reportedly approached Vijay and informed him that he was being removed from the film. Vijay insisted that his failure to greet Ajay was the only possible misconduct on his part and refuted any allegations of inappropriate behavior.
