ED on November 29 had conducted raids over a dozen places that are linked to Raj Kundra over the alleged pornography case.
Actor Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra, on Tuesday, spoke to ANI over the money laundering case linked to the alleged illegal distribution of pornographic movies and Enforcement Directorate provisionally attaching his properties.
He said to the agency, “In the attachment order it is clearly written that we have no evidence of any funds going to Raj Kundra.”

Kundra further said,” There was a crypto king called Amit Bhardwaj, he was a respected businessman, I met him, he had to do a lot of work in bitcoin mining and I knew a friend in Israel who is a great expert in this technology. So I brought both of them together…a British citizen, I met him in Dubai and there was an Israeli party, so how is ED involved in this?”
Kundra further asserted,” We will fight all these things in the court. I was called as a witness 6 years ago and asked if you had some dealing with Amit Bhardwaj. I went there 6 times, I gave all the facts as a witness…Then in 2024 without any information, all my property was attached, I did not understand this. They called me again and asked the same thing as they asked 6 years ago, now what can we do? We will fight this in the court and we will win this…”
On the alleged pornography case, Kundra said that till date he had not been a part of any pornography or any production related to porn at all.
Kundra said, “When this allegation came to light, it was very hurtful. The reason the bail happened was because there were no facts or evidence to this. I know I have not done anything wrong.”
“As far as running an app is concerned, there was a listed company in my son’s name and we used to provide technology services. We provided technology services to my brother-in-law’s company Kenrin, in which he had launched an app running from the UK, it was bold for sure, it was made for the older audience, these were A-rated films but they were not pornographic at all…”
Over his involvement in the entire scenario he said, “As far as my involvement is concerned, it is purely been a technology provider…Let a girl come forward who says that I have met Raj Kundra or worked in any of his movies, or has Raj Kundra ever produced any movie…Media says Raj Kundra is the kingpin of all 13 apps, I am involved in the participation of software technology only and nothing wrong was being run in that app…”
Kundra felt that all of this was done by someone to malign his name and it was nothing but vendetta.
He said, “There must be someone behind this, definitely…When you do business in this country, naturally you make friends as well as enemies. I had an issue with a business rival and when I was in police custody, people would come in the middle of the night and tell me why did you get involved with him, then I understood that the message that was coming was vendetta and a known enemy tried to make this whole game and slowly things got revealed and I got a lot of information.”
Raj Kundra also wrote to the CBI and gave them names of all the people that he felt were against him.
He said, “I wrote to CBI and gave names which I felt were against me and I hope an inquiry is opened and they can see clearly this was nothing but vendetta to spoil my name…”
The businessman further assenting that his wife Shilpa Shetty’s name should not be dragged to any of these controversies said, “Shilpa Shetty has earned such a big name for herself here, she has worked so hard, it is so unfair that the controversy is mine and you are involving my wife’s name, why because you get a clickbait, if you put the name of Shilpa Shetty’s husband then you will get more views, that thing will go viral, you are spoiling the reputation of the other person. She has nothing to do with anything, why are you spoiling her reputation by involving her name?”
He then said, “I am just her husband you can come on me. I have been here for 15 years, from an IPL team owner to a businessman, I have made a lot of investments in India, so I don’t think I am not known. It is wrong to spoil someone’s reputation like this. You can say anything about me but not don’t get on to my family…”
