Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has been arrested by the ED in connection with a land scam case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut in connection with the Patra Chawl land scam case.
The Shiv Sena leader was arrested following the raid at his residence by the financial probe agency. His brother, Sunil Raut, was informed about the arrest.
Raut was booked under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 and will be produced in the PMLA court likely on Monday afternoon.
‘ED SCARED OF SANJAY RAUT’
“The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is scared of Sanjay Raut and that is why has placed him under arrest,” Sunil Raut said after the Shiv Sena MP was arrested by the ED in the land scam case.
There are bogus documents and there is nothing to connect Sanjay Raut to the Patra chawl case, he added.
ED DETAINS SANJAY RAUT
An Enforcement Directorate (ED) team showed up at Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s residence in Mumbai on Sunday Morning and detained him after conducting hours of search. Raut was probed in connection with a money laundering case linked to alleged irregularities involving the re-development of a Mumbai ‘chawl’.
