Comedian Samay Raina recently took to social media to say that he has deleted all the episodes of his show India’s Got Latent amid the ongoing controversy around it. Now, Rakhi Sawant, who was also one of the panelists in IGL has come out in support of the comedian calling out ‘jantaki hypocrisy.’

She hosted an Instagram LIVE and voiced her concerns on social media amid Indias Got Latent row. Complimenting Samay, she said, “Samay mera bohut acha dost hai, hota hai aisa kabhi kabhi, ups and downs aate jate rehte hain… bohut acha banda hai, I understand Ranveer ne galat bola hai… bohut galat bola hai lekin orr bhi to sab hain bolte hain, jaise vo konse color ki ch*ddi pehne ho wali, apne b**p se puchna jaake. Usko accept krliya desh walon ne? Uspe to video bana banake viral kar rahe hain, tab desh kharab ni horha hai? (Samay is a very good friend of mine, it happens like this every now and then, ups and downs keep on coming… it is very bad, I understand Ranveer has spoken wrong… he has spoken very wrong but even then many people have done the same, as that girl asks which color underwear you are wearing, she should ask her father. But on those audios you are making viral videos, then the country is not getting polluted?)”
Further, venting out, Rakhi added, “Udit Narayan ladki ke muh mei muh daalke kiss kar raha hai, usko koi kuch nahi bol raha… tab desh ki janta kharab nahi ho rahi hai? Ye Mika ki copy kar raha tha kya, jaise usne meko kiss kiya tha or famous hua tha? (Udit Narayan is kissing a girl on the mouth, why are people not saying anything to him… then people of the country are not getting spoiled? Was he copying Mika, like he kissed me and became famous?)”
Earlier too, Rakhi shared a message on social media and called for forgiveness for Ranveer Allahabadia amid his recent remarks on India’s Got Latent with comedian Samay Raina. “Forgive him yaar. It’s okay happen, sometimes forgive him. I know he did wrong, but forgive him (sic),” she wrote.
On Wednesday evening (February 12), Samay Raina took to his official X handle (formerly known as Twitter), and broke the silence on the controversy around his show. He also announced that he had deleted all the episodes of IGL and he would be fully cooperating with the agencies. He shared, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”
