Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said that India would continue to send humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday spoke to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. PM Modi conveyed his condolences on the loss of civilian lives in the bombing at a Gaza hospital.
Amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, PM Modi said that India would continue to send humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people.
“Shared our deep concern at the terrorism, violence and deteriorating security situation in the region. Reiterated India’s long-standing principled position on the Israel-Palestine issue,” PM Modi said after he spoke to the Palestinian Authority President.
The conflict between Israel and Hamas has continued to escalate after the terrorist group launched a surprise attack on October 7. In response, Israel declared war on Hamas and launched retaliatory air strikes, targetting Hamas operatives and its bases in the Gaza Strip.
