Pulwama (Jammu and Kashmir): One migrant labourer was killed and two others were injured after terrorists threw a grenade in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama, police said on Thursday.
“Terrorists hurled grenade on outside labourers at Gadoora area of #Pulwama. In this terror incident, one labourer died and two others were injured. Area cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” the Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
Terrorists hurled a grenade at a tent housing labourers at Gadoora village in Pulwama, a police spokesman said.
The deceased labourer has been identified as Mohammad Mumtaz, a resident of Sakwa Parsa, Bihar, said Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The two injured labourers, who are also from Bihar, have been identified as Mohammad Arif and Mohammad Majbool. Their conditions are stable, police said.
“The deceased outside labourer has been identified as Mohd Mumtaz, resident of Sakwa Parsa, Bihar. Injured have been identified as Mohd Arif and Mohd Majbool, residents of Rampur, Bihar. Both are stable,” Police said.
The labourers were manufacturing cotton bedding, they said.
The Police had cordoned off the area.
