Popular television actress Nia Sharma recently had a near-miss with fire while filming for her daily soap Suhagan Chudail in Mumbai. On Thursday, September 5, Nia shared a chilling video of the incident on her Instagram, giving her fans a glimpse of the scary moment on set. In the video, a group of men can be seen walking in a circle, holding torches as part of the scene. As Nia steps out of the circle after pushing a few of the men, a flame is unexpectedly hurled in her direction. She screams and falls to the ground in shock. Moments later, the team is heard shouting “Cut” in the background, indicating the end of the scene after her fall. Fortunately, it seemed like no serious injuries occurred, but the incident clearly startled Nia and her team.
In the video, Nia is seen dressed in a black bralette top with mirror embellishments and a long slit skirt, which appears to be part of her character’s costume. Captioning her post, Nia wrote humorously, “When they say lit…and it literally gets on fire,” acknowledging the close call. Along with the video, she also shared some photos from the set, likely taken before the incident.
