Oksana, who is just 23-years-old, was heading home with Viktor in their hometown of Lysychansk when she stepped on a mine. The incident happened on March 27.
The horrific blast left Oksana’s legs badly injured, and four fingers on her left hand had blown away in the explosion, according to reports.
Viktor was not injured but Oksana had to transfer to a hospital, where she needed four operations before she was evacuated to Dnipro.
Oksana arrived last week in Lviv and decided to tie the knot in the hospital where she is currently recovering.
Footage shared online by the Ukrainian Parliament shows Viktor holding Oksana up in a warm embrace as they danced around the hospital ward to the applause of their guests.
