NTA Director General has denied the claims of paper leak while addressing a press conference today. Subodh Kumar Singh, NTA DG said that there was no paper leak and the whole exam process has been very transparent and integrity of this examination was not compromised throughout the country
While addressing the alleged irregularities, he said that our committee met and they perused all the details of the centres and the CCTVs. They found that at some centres time was lost and felt that the students should be compensated for that.
He said that the committee thought they could address the grievances and compensate the students hence the marks of some students were increased.

The problem was only limited to six centre and out of 24 lakh students, only 1600 students faced the issue. The education ministry has set up a four-member panel to review the grace marks awarded to more than 1,500 candidates in the NEET Exam. The committee will be able to submit their recommendation within a week.
