Mumbai: A man committed suicide by jumping from the ninth floor of the St. Regis Hotel in Lower Parel. The deceased who had earlier been undergoing treatment for depression was identified as Sohrab Pesi Khandalawala. He was declared to be brought dead at the hospital, according to a report in the Times of India.
According to the N M Joshi Marg Police, the man was strolling on the balcony after lunch when he suddenly jumped. A case of accidental death has been registered as primary evidence does not indicate any foul play, said the Times of India report.
