The Maha Kumbh 2025, set to begin on January 13 and end on February 26 in Prayagraj, promises a unique experience for devotees this year. Starting from Shankar Mahadevan to Mohit Chauhan, several singers are set to add a musical touch to spirituality.
Shankar Mahadevan will perform on the opening day while Mohit will conclude the event with his soulful music. Other than these two, severall acclaimed artists, including Kailash Kher, Shaan Mukherjee, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Kavita Seth, Hariharan, Bickram Ghosh, Malini Awasthi Rishab Rikhiram Sharma, Shovana Narayan, Dr L Subramaniam, and many others, will perform at the event, said the Ministry of Culture in a release.
The Ganga Pandal at the Kumbh Mela grounds will showcase performances featuring classical dance, folk music, and dramatic arts. These performances aim to tell stories of devotion, faith, and India’s cultural heritage, providing devotees and visitors with both a spiritual and artistic experience.
The performances will span classical music to folk traditions, featuring a star-studded lineup, including Ravi Tripathi (January 25), Sadhana Sargam (January 26), Shaan (January 27), and Ranjani & Gayatri (January 31). Other notable performances include Hariharan (February 10), Kailasa’s Kailash Kher (February 23), and the grand finale by Mohit Chauhan (February 24).
Other than this, as per reports, several Bollywood celebrities are also expected to attend the event while taking a holy dip at Sangam.
As per reports, several celebrities from the Hindi, South Indian, and Bhojpuri film industries are expected to visit Prayagraj and attend Maha Kumbh Mela. Among the stars anticipated to attend are Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Anup Jalota, Renuka Shahane, Ashutosh Rana, Ravi Kishan, Manoj Tiwari, Akshara Singh, Rakhi Sawant, and others.
