In the men’s final, India dominated all four turns. They started strong, taking a 26-0 lead in the first turn and keeping Nepal under control while defending. By the halfway mark, India led 26-18.

India won the inagural Kho-Kho World Cup in style, with both the men’s and women’s teams defeating Nepal in their respective finals. The men’s team secured the trophy with a convincing 54-36 victory, while the women triumphed 78-40.

The Indian men’s team remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, defeating Nepal, Brazil, Peru, Bhutan, and South Africa in earlier matches.

Nepal won the toss and decided to defend first, just like their women’s team did earlier in the evening, giving India the chance to attack right away. India didn’t waste any time, as Waikar and his teammates quickly took out Nepal’s key players—Hem, Janak, and Suraj—in just under 90 seconds to score their first points.

Nepal managed to regain some ground during their next turn, with defender Rajan Bal holding off India’s attackers for about two minutes before being run out.
