Kapoor has emerged as the highest tax-paying female celebrity in India for 2024, according to a recent report by Fortune India. This recognition highlights her significant financial contributions through various avenues, including her film projects, brand endorsements, and entrepreneurial ventures. In total, Kareena has paid an impressive Rs 20 crore in taxes, outpacing her female peers such as Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. Following her on the list is Kiara Advani, who contributed Rs 12 crore, while Katrina Kaif secured the third position with a tax payment of Rs 11 crore. Notably, these three actresses were the only female celebrities to feature in this year’s tax-paying rankings.
On a broader scale, Shah Rukh Khan holds the title of the highest tax-payer among all Indian celebrities for the year 2024, with a staggering Rs 92 crore in tax payments. He is closely followed by Thalapathy Vijay, who paid Rs 80 crore, and Salman Khan, who contributed Rs 75 crore. This ranking is particularly noteworthy as it positions Vijay as the sole South Indian star within the top three tax-payers. His latest film, “GOAT: Greatest of All Time,” premiered in theaters on September 5, generating considerable buzz. Additionally, two other prominent South Indian actors, Mohanlal and Allu Arjun, also made their mark on the list with tax payments of Rs 14 crore each.
