A Delhi man’s Reddit post went viral on social media, as per which, he and his wife allegedly ended up receiving deadly ‘threats’ from a group of bikers, over some ‘accidental water spill’. Here’s the entire matter…

When it comes to ‘patience’- especially on the road- India and Indian streets are not exactly on the top. Road rage incidents and abusive arguments and fights over the pettiest of inconveniences have turned into an ‘everyday thing’ for most- based on countless social media posts narrating the same. Highlighting something similar with yet another incident, a Delhi man narrated a rather ‘scary’ incident that allegedly unfolded with him and his wife. As per the man’s Reddit post, his wife was watering some plants in their residence’s balcony. She was allegedly almost done, when some of the water accidently ended up spilling on the street below, resulting in a group of bikers getting a little wet. What happened next left the couple ‘scared’ for their safety; the bikers allegedly turned abusive and began to threaten ‘the people who spilt the water’.
The man expressed his shock over the matter and claimed that nothing like this ever happened to him in the last ‘15 years’. As per the post, one of the bikers threatened to ‘burn’ the ‘responsible’ alive. “Jala dunga (Will burn you),” the biker had allegedly shouted. The couple, as per the post, did not confront the bikers due to fear for their safety. The post, soon after getting shared, went viral in an instant. Times Now could not confirm the exact location and authenticity of the post.
“After 15 years of living here, what happened today shook me,” the post read.
The post was shared on Reddit, by the handle ‘UniversityClean1855’. It was shared today and pulled many reactions from people.
“Typical. Just have an iron door. Like not Jali Wala stuff. The proper door is made of iron saria square steel. For all roof and main entries. Let the dogs bark. Never engage or peep out. And always have CCTV. They come with night vision and sound as std nowadays, on all fronts, and kitchen for maid,” a user said.
“Sadly, folks do be like this nowadays, everyone wants to act all tough and gangster. All it took was some ‘chullu bhar pani’ to hurt that man’s ego, imagine if a tiny rock or pebble would’ve fallen onto him,” added a second person.
