Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is in France for AI Action Summit, answered one of the most frequently asked question: Can Technology and Artificial Intelligence replace humans from the job market?
In a clear cut answer, PM Modi said that humans can never be replaced and only the nature of jobs will change in the AI world. “History has shown that work doesn’t disappear due to technology, Its nature changes and new types of jobs are created,” PM Modi said during the address at the AI Action Summit. The prime minister further said that AI is writing the code for humanity in this century.
Co-Chairing the AI Action Summit along with French President Emmanuel Macron, PM Modi said that AI is changing the polity, economy, security and society.
He asserted that investment needs to be done in skilling and re-skilling people for an AI-driven future. “Education, agriculture and so much more. It can help create a world in which the journey to sustainable energy goals is faster,” PM Modi added.
