The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has achieved significant engagement, with 23 crore homes displaying the flag in 2022 and over 10 crore selfies uploaded in 2023. The campaign aims to foster patriotism, raise awareness about the Indian National Flag, and enhance national unity and pride.

Key points for proper use of the national flag:

  • Correct Position: The flag must never be hoisted inverted.
  • Condition of the Flag: Use only flags in good condition; torn or damaged flags should not be hoisted.
  • Display Protocol: The flag should always be upright and never dipped.
  • Respectful Use: The flag should not be used as decoration, or part of a costume, uniform, or accessory.
