Haryana ex-CM OP Chautala passes 10th at 87, Abhishek Bachchan of Dasvi tweets thumbs up

Om Prakash Chautala appeared for his Class 10 exams in 2019 but could not write the English paper. This prompted the Haryana education board to withhold his Class 12 results. Last August, Chautala finally took the English exam and secured 88 per cent.

The adage – there’s no age limit to learning – has been proved right by the former chief minister of Haryana, Om Prakash Chautala. The veteran politician cleared his Class 10 and Class 12 exams at the age of 87, and that too, in the first division.

The state education department handed over the marksheet to a beaming and proud Chautala this morning. The Indian National Lok Dal chief attended the 428th birth anniversary of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap as a chief guest on Monday. As he reached the venue, the Haryana Education Board officials handed over the results to the former chief minister.
