When Chainsmokers musician Drew Taggart, 34, proposed to Brazilian model Marianne Fonseca at Los Angeles celeb fave Giorgio Baldi, the unwitting bride-to-be thought she was headed to meet her buddy Trump.
Instead, Taggart was waiting for his now-betrothed amid a sea of roses at the restaurant.
A source told us Trump “played the ultimate wingwoman, orchestrating the dinner” and keeping its real purpose a secret.

“The truth is [Trump] invited me to a girls dinner with her,” Fonseca confirmed on Instagram. “But when I got there, it was my love . . . You guys got me so good.”
Sources exclusively told us that Bieber also played a part. “In addition to Ivanka orchestrating a clever girls night diversion,” said a source, “Drew enlisted the help of Marianne’s inner circle to make the engagement unforgettable.”
The insider added, “When it came to selecting the perfect ring — a stunning 5-carat elongated cushion-cut diamond — Drew asked what Marianne wanted . . . The decision for the elongated stone came from Marianne’s good friend Hailey Bieber.”
Bieber got engaged to Justin Bieber in 2018, when the pop star proposed with an oval-cut diamond set on a simple gold band.
She told W Magazine this year that her now-hubby upgraded the bauble, but downplayed speculation about its carat size.
