GUN HORROR Far-right firebrand Nick Fuentes says he was ‘targeted by armed killer’ as triple murder suspect shot dead near his home

FAR-RIGHT firebrand Nick Fuentes says he was targeted by an armed killer after a triple murder suspect was shot dead in Illinois.

Fuentes posted a video of a man holding a gun and crossbow who is seen ringing his doorbell and calling out for him by name.

Cops declined to comment on the video but confirmed a triple murder suspect was shot and killed in the area.

The Berwyn Police Department responded to calls about a man with a gun in Berwyn, a suburb of Chicago, just before midnight on Wednesday night.

When cops confronted the suspect, he ran off and broke into a neighboring home, where he fatally shot two dogs, according to Berwyn PD.

Police confronted the man again in the street, where he shot at officers, who returned fire and fatally wounded him.

The cops were not injured, and the suspect was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Officials believe the gunman killed three people earlier that day in the central Illinois town of Mahomet, about 140 miles south of Berwyn.

The victims were identified as three family members: Sara Mason, 26, Janis Mason, 61, and Caleb Mason, 23.

It’s unclear why they were targeted and what connection, if any, they had to the suspect or Fuentes.

Police didn’t immediately respond to The U.S. Sun’s requests for more information.

FUENTES SPEAKS OUT

Fuentes, a 26-year-old streamer known for sharing white supremacist and antisemitic ideology, said he was targeted by the gunman, but authorities haven’t confirmed his claim.

“Last night an armed killer made an attempt on my life at my home, which was recently doxed on this platform,” Fuentes wrote on X.

“The gunman carried a pistol, crossbow, and incendiary devices. I believe he intended to kill me.

“He is now dead. I am okay!”

Fuentes said he was grateful to be alive and later posted the video of what appeared to be an armed man at his doorstep, adding that he was livestreaming at the time.

In the video, a man in tan pants, a blue jacket, and a white motorcycle helmet walks up the steps to the building’s front door with a handgun and crossbow drawn.

After setting down the crossbow, he rings the doorbell and lingers for a few seconds before yelling, “Yo, Nick!”

Nick Fuentes statement on shooting

“Last night an armed killer made an attempt on my life at my home, which was recently doxed on this platform.”The gunman carried a pistol, crossbow, and incendiary devices. I believe he intended to kill me.”He is now dead. I am okay!”According to police, the would-be assassin committed a triple homicide in southern Illinois early yesterday before he arrived at my doorstep with his pistol drawn, calling my name.”I am grateful to God that I am still alive today.”

Illinois State Police declined to comment on the video, citing the open and ongoing investigation.

“I believe he intended to kill me,” Fuentes wrote.

Referring to the deaths of his neighbors’ dogs, Nick wrote, “While heartbreaking, it could have been so unimaginably worse. God have mercy. Doxing is not a game.”

Fuentes’ home address was doxxed last month after he posted a video mocking women’s reproductive rights by saying, “Your body, my choice,” following Donald Trump’s win in the presidential election.

Using the doxxed address, social media activist Marla Rose went to his house to confront him about the post on November 10.

She recorded herself attempting to ring Fuentes’ doorbell before Fuentes opened the door and allegedly pepper-sprayed her before pushing her down the stairs.

Fuentes was arrested on November 27 and charged with battery.

He was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.

Fuentes didn’t immediately respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.

In his thread on X, the streamer said he planned to move following the incident.
